Two Tuggle Duggins Attorneys receive the NCACPA 5.0 Speaker Award
Tuggle Duggins attorneys H. Vaughn Ramsey and Michael J. Wenig have been selected as recipients of the North Carolina Association of CPAs 2016 5.0 Speaker Award. This award recognizes discussion leaders who have received a perfect 5.0 rating on knowledge and abilities from evaluations completed by participants of seminars and conferences.
Vaughn, former chairman of Tuggle Duggins P.A., has represented clients in business and taxation matters for more than twenty-five years. He is also a regular lecturer on state and federal income tax topics and a former member of the board of the J. Nelson Young UNC Tax Institute.
Mike, a director of Tuggle Duggins P.A., has over thirty years of experience counseling closely held business clients on a variety of issues. He is a past chair of the Tax Section of the North Carolina Bar and a member of the American College of Tax Counsel. Mike is a certified public accountant and member of the Tax Committee of the NCACPA. He has extensive experience handling business transactions as well as representing individual and corporate taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, state revenue departments, and in various courts.
