Prior to his in-house career, Chris worked at large law firms representing clients in a variety of corporate, securities and environmental law matters. Engagements included:

- advising companies pursuing mergers and the acquisition and disposition of equity ownership interests and assets.
He particularly enjoys advising small companies through transactions that are transformative or a culmination of a significant portion of the career efforts for those clients.
Prior to joining Tuggle Duggins, Chris served as Corporate Counsel for The Brock Group, Inc. and Assistant General Counsel for The Linc Group, LLC in Houston, Texas. Prior to his legal career, Chris worked as a mechanical engineer and environmental consultant. Outside of the office, Chris spends his time admiring the efforts of his wife and three children, rooting for all things Longhorn and burnt orange, pursuing a Quixotic quest for Texas bar-b-que in North Carolina, and trying to solve the riddle of golf.
